Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales/Account Manager to join our growing web design and marketing agency. As a Sales/Account Manager, you will play a key role in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, identifying sales opportunities, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and ensuring client satisfaction. Your primary goal will be to drive sales growth and foster long-term partnerships with our clients. As a hybrid position, you will 90% off site with monthly meetings in the Elgin, IL area and occassional travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to understand their business goals, needs, and challenges.
  • Proactively identify sales opportunities by conducting research, attending industry events, and leveraging existing networks.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales strategies and generate leads.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals that align with client objectives and showcase our services.
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing in collaboration with the agency leadership and legal team.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the sales process and manage client expectations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, such as web designers, developers, and marketers, to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery of services.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Monitor and analyze sales metrics, track progress against sales targets, and provide regular reports to the management team.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Sales/Account Manager or in a similar client-facing role within the web design or digital marketing industry.
  • Strong understanding of web design and digital marketing concepts, trends, and technologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify sales opportunities, negotiate contracts, and close deals successfully.
  • Exceptional presentation and proposal writing skills.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple client relationships simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
